SDC80: Out with the Old, In with the New

Claire here hoping you all had a very Merry Christmas and wishing you all a Happy New Year. I'm hosting the challenge this week which is "Out with the old and in with the new".

If you were very lucky I'm sure that Santa will have bought you lots of new stash to play with, so you can either make a project using a combination of old and new stash (just don't forget to tell us what it is). Alternatively you might like to make something to celebrate the new year. The choice is yours!I Can't wait to see what you make.

Please read ALL RULES on the linkz page before linking your creation.
If you didn't follow the rules posted, you may have been deleted.
Feel free to relink your creation with the correct information for a chance to win.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and we are looking to bringing in 2013 with you.  We will be back at a later date with our top 3 favorites from the last challenge.

SDC78: Non-Traditional Christmas

France is hostess for this week's challenge and she's issuing a fun one:

As Christmas is coming closer, it's sad to see how most of the non Christmas themed stamps are neglected! So, how about making a Christmas card, with non traditional stamps?

This might take you out of your comfort zone, but there's help: music!
Put some Jingle Bells on and you'll see Christmas in just about any stamp!
Have fun!

Hi Gez here, with a brand NEW challenge for you this week and I would like you ALL to get sentimental! I love to add sentiments to my artwork whether I am cardmaking or art journaling. To me a simple sentiment can say it all.

Stampotique Originals have a lovely selection of sentiments to suit all occasions and tastes and as you would expect from Stampotique some out of the norm sentiments too!
So, it's time to get creative and share your favourite sentiments with us.
Have fun!

Jo's top 3 picks from the Wrap It challenge are:
(please e-mail khowardga@gmail.com for the favorites badge)

I love that the more you look the more details pop up! I particularly like the embossed tree and the two colours used for the 'Tree Topper' angel.

The colours are gorgeous- a perfect backdrop for this great character on his walkabout.

A fantastic texture and colour combination. So much to look at and discover.

And for our two random winners for the $30 gift certificate for Stampotique stamps:

SDC December Challenge Links

PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE LINKING

Please remember you can use any stamps now for our challenge, but only one entry per person.  We will draw 2 random winners on the first week of our challenge in January from all those who played in the December challenges.

Please link DIRECTLY to your creation, not to your blog.  You MUST  include the challenge # behind your name (any not linking directly to your creation AND having the challenge # will be deleted and not eligible for prize).   For example if I'm entering it would look like this- MYNAME-SDC73 (or whichever challenge # it is)

We ask that if you have comment verification turned on, that you would consider turning this on and doing comment moderation instead.

Please use Inlinkz below to link up your challenge.

**Change to Stampotique submission rules:  You will now have until the first challenge of the following month to submit your entries-we will only have one Inlinkz per month; so today marks the start of the challenges for December and it will run through the close of our last challenge for December on January 1, 2013 at noon ET**

SDC76: It's a Wrap

Jo is our hostess of this week's challenge and here is what she has challenged everyone with:

"It's at this time of year when I always think ' Oh it's ages until December 25th, no panic' and before I know it I am sitting surrounded by wrapping paper, ribbon and tags on the 24th promising myself I shall plan ahead next year and be more organised. So here I am, planning ahead with this week's theme of making unique wrapping, tags and gift packaging using stamps. Whether it's a simple single image stamped onto a plain sheet of paper finished off with jazzy trimmings, an intricate tag, a wonderful gift box or even stamping your own ribbon, give it a try and see what a difference it makes transforming (very cheaply!) the smallest most basic of gifts into a little work of art."

Please read ALL RULES on the linkz page before linking your creation.
If you didn't follow the rules posted, you may have been deleted.
Feel free to relink your creation with the correct information for a chance to win.

Libby's top 3 favorites of the paint challenge were:
(e-mail khowardga@gmail.com if you would like the favorites badge to display)

Sue:
Since she already uses paint a lot, she challenged herself more by incorporating PAINTBRUSHES into her project. So awesome!

Sam:
Love the funky orange polka dots on this one - they suit Gibi well!

The background she created with acrylics is gorgeous, and this fun design makes me want to dance.
